Based on your options,

you can participate in a temple's food service

known as prasadam distribution,  either by cooking and bringing food or by volunteering to help prepare and serve it at the temple.

The act of offering food is an important part of Hindu worship, and partaking in the blessed food is seen as receiving the deity's grace.
